DC’s Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Trailer

Looks like Wonder Woman is back in an all new feature length DC Universe original movie titled Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The trailer for the film has been released and you can check it out above!

As you can see by the trailer above, it looks like we are going to get a similar story that has been told time and time again of Steve Trevor crash landing near the island of Themyscira and Princess Diana choosing to leave and protect the world of man only to have to come back and protect her homeland. It’s co-directed by Sam Liu, and Justin Copeland from a script by Mairghread Scott.

Here is the synopsis for the film.
In Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, Amazon princess Diana of Themyscira chooses to save fighter pilot Steve Trevor and return him to his home in America – setting in motion one of Wonder Woman’s most captivating chapters. Fulfilling the role of both ambassador as well as protector, Diana soon earns the name Wonder Woman from the gracious people of Earth.

Equally strong in body, heart and will, she makes it her mission to help a troubled young girl enlisted by a deadly organization known as Villainy, Inc., whose criminal members have their sights set on invading Themyscira, Diana’s paradise home. Prepare for a thrilling quest packed with brutal battles, mysterious mythology and endless wonder!

The voice cast for this film is lead by Rosario Dawson, who returns as the voice of Wonder Woman for a sixth time, Jeffrey Donovan as Steve Trevor, Marie Avgeropoulos as Silver Swan, Adrienne C. Moore as Etta Candy, Kimberly Brooks as Cheetah and Giganta, Courtenay Taylor as Dr. Poison and Cree Summer as Hippolyta.

To be honest with as many times as I have read and seen this story I am not to hyped for this film, it would have been great to see a different approach to Wonder Woman this time around. If anything I am a lot more excited to see what the villains have to offer in this film.
