Did Stephen Amell Tease Ruby Rose’s Batwoman Costume Test?

Reactions have been all over the place since the announcement that Kate Kane aka Batwoman was going to make her debut in the Arrowverse’s annual superhero show crossover that includes Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl.

First of course there was the excitement of having a Bat family character in the Arrowverse. Then there was the reaction by social media when The CW announced that actress Ruby Rose, known for her role in Netflix’s Orange is the New Black and also the film titled The Meg, would be the one to bring Kate Kane to life during the event. Sadly as we know it was a negative response due to people opinions about the choice in actress by The CW to the point where she had to leave Twitter.

But soon after the announcement, Oliver Queen himself Stephen Amell took to social media to welcome her to the Arrowverse. But last night on Twitter, Amell sent out another tweet that said “Watching someone try on a superhero suit for the first time never gets old”. Check out the tweet below!

Could Amell be talking about Rose trying on the Batwoman costume for the first time? Or could this be just another character from his own show? Most fans out there have already started speculating that his tweet is referring to Rose. Also let’s keep in mind that Amell knows what he did by posting that, especially with all the talk whether negative or positive about the casting of Rose as Batwoman.

It’s plausible that by the time the announcement was made the costume was already ready for fitting. Most Arrowverse fans are already anxious to see what Batwoman is going to look like in costume, especially the way the bat symbol will look on the small screen. Now we have no choice but to be patient and wait until The CW decides to drop a first look.

The CW superhero show featuring Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl is expected to air sometime in late November.
