Disney+ Is Doing Exactly What We All Thought It Would

Are you all enjoying Disney+? I sure am, and anyone else I know who has a subscription is absolutely loving it.  Most everyone here at LRM is having a blast not just with The Mandalorian, but with the Pixar content, as well as the old Disney Channel series.

At half the price of Netflix, with some of the biggest franchises in cinema history, Disney+ has proven it’s a streaming force to be reckoned with. The Mouse’s streaming service is said to have gained 10 million subscribers within the first 24 hours.

Dan Ives, a Wedbush analyst had the following to say while speaking with The New York Post.

“This shows the company is gonna be a legit competitor to the likes of Netflix, despite the skeptics that continue to doubt the House of Mouse. The pricing, the content and the bundling was just a pure genius strategy from [Bob] Iger and Disney.”

The bundling was the final piece of the puzzle, however, I think that the content and the price by themselves would have been enough. Disney sold us content we know we would have paid a higher price for, at a nice discount, a show of good faith to its customers from the House of Mouse.
