El Camino’s Emmy Teaser Hits!

We are just a few short weeks away before both the theatrical and Netflix release of the follow up to the tremendous hit series, Breaking Bad. Sure, we have Better Call Saul, but that was more of a spiritual successor set in the past. Come this October 11, fans keen to see what resident meth cook with a heart of gold, Jesse Pinkman has been up to will find out. From the looks of the recently released trailer, Jesse may be held up and hiding somewhere and that somewhere may be in the middle of nowhere.

Check out the trailer, and then go re-watch the final episode of Breaking Bad and double-check the total number of people wasted by Heisenberg’s remote-control bedlam doled out the business end of an M60. Watch the trailer below.

Did you watch it? Admittedly we don’t see much in the trailer, but we do get an earful. That radio is buzzing with all sorts of manner of activity in the aftermath of Walter White’s redecorating that Aryan bad guy lair with all that neo-Nazi viscera. So, what do we know? We know Pinkman is bound to have several problems. Numero uno amongst them must be that he is the last chef on earth able to cook that sweet blue icy methamphetamine that flies off dealers’ hands faster than you can say ricin.

More than anything though I am baffled at Vince Gilligan’s very Christopher Nolan like approach to making this sequel. I for one didn’t see this sequel coming. I just hope it’s the sequel we deserve. Here’s hoping we get to see Pinkman stumble into a Cinnabon and come face to face with a certain lawyer.
