No combat mission is an easy combat mission.

In “A War,” it follows a military office Claus M. Pederson as he leads his troops in Afghanistan. His wife, Maria, tries to keep the family together with the father of three children away overseas. One routine mission changes everyone’s lives as Pederson makes an important decision during a firefight that affects his soldiers, his family and his life.

The movie stars Pilou Asbaek, Tuva Novotny, Dar Salim and Soren Malling.
