Fantastic Beasts About Dumbledore Becoming Dumbledore Says J.K. Rowling, Trailer Drops Tomorrow

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them started off as what seemed like a less ambitious story taking place decades prior to the events of Harry Potter, but after seeing that first film, it became very clear that screenwriter J.K. Rowling had so much more in mind.

Now, with the sequel, which is set to hit this coming November, we know that the character Albus Dumbledore will be playing a key role. But don’t expect his role to stop there. If anything, based on some new comments from Rowling herself on the Today Show, his role will only become larger:

“These movies are largely about how Dumbledore became Dumbledore. That’s one of the things that’s going on on this franchise.”

When asked if she could tease about any other connections to the original book series, Rowling dodged the question, saying “we’re going to see the new trailer, aren’t we?”

Well, not just yet. As was revealed by Warner Bros.’ new tweet, we will be seeing the final trailer tomorrow.

This will make the final trailer until the movie’s November 16 release date. That means the last month and a half or so will largely be TV spots and other miscellaneous details.

Are you excited to check out the new trailer, and are you happy that Dumbledore will continue to play an important role? Let us know down below!
