Final Trailer For MGM’s Fighting With My Family

This Friday will be the release of MGM’s film Fighting With My Family. This film follows the family and rise of WWE superstar Paige, who due to a series of injuries and surgeries had to retire from performing last year, though WWE has found other creative ways to include her in the company due to her popularity. Today was the release of the final trailer before this weekend’s release, you can check it out above!

It’s a good trailer, but it really doesn’t anything we haven’t seen before. The film was inspired by the British documentary titled The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family. Stephen Merchant, who has worked on The Office and Hello Ladies, served as a writer, director and executive producer on the film. Also as executive producers are Seven Bucks Productions’ Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia, along with Andy Berman, Daniel Battsek, Tracey Josephs, David Kosse and Rhodri Thomas.

The film stars Florence Pugh as Paige, Jack Lowden, Lena Headey, Nick Frost, Vince Vaughn and Dwayne Johnson. The film made an appearance at this years Sundance Film Festival and it is getting a lot of positive feedback from audiences and critics alike. Currently on Rotten Tomatoes it is has a rating of 93% with 54 fresh reviews and 4 rotten ones.

Here is the synopsis for Fighting With My Family:
Based on a true story, Fighting with My Family follows reformed gangster Ricky, wife Julia, daughter Paige and son Zak as they make a living wrestling together in tiny venues. When Paige and Zak get the opportunity to try out for WWE, the family grabs a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn their wildest dreams into a dazzling future. However, brother and sister quickly discover that to become superstars, both their talent and their relationship will be put to the test. Fighting with My Family is a heartwarming and smart comedy that proves everything is worth fighting for when it comes to family.

Regardless about how you feel about Wrestling, it’s a fantastic story. With as messed up as some of those WWE story lines have been, it’s good for WWE films to have a good story out there on the road to Wrestlemania 35.
