The last time Smith and Lawrence graced the silver screen as Detectives Lowrey and Burnett was in 2003’s Bad Boys II. While it has been 16 years since their last action-packed case, the two seem to have eased back in to their roles rather quickly. The first film, which was released back in 1995, skyrocketed the careers for the television stars. Lawrence went on to star in A Thin Line Between Love & HateNothing To LoseBlue StreakLife, and score box office success with the Big Momma’s House films. Meanwhile, Smith went on to become a blockbuster lead with films like Independence DayMen In BlackEnemy Of The StateI, RobotHitch and I Am Legend. Smith would also score two Best Actor Academy Award nominations for his roles in Ali and The Pursuit Of Happyness.

Bad Boys 3: Bad Boys For Life is slated to be released during Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend on January 17th, 2020.
