Any of you that have been following the promos for Once Upon a Deadpool, knows that it has been somewhat of an awkward situation for director and former child actor Fred Savage. Taking him back to the set of The Princess Bride, a film in which he starred as the grandson being read the story of the movie.
Savage recently spoke with Yahoo! Entertainment and discussed his only demand for when shooting was over. Savage seems to imply he is being held against his will for the videos. You can check out what he had to say below.
“My demands were just to let me go, so I could rejoin my family.”

Of course, Savage is just joking around, while Deadpool may actually kidnap someone for the purpose of promotional videos, I doubt Ryan Reynolds would want to deal with the repercussions of such an act. It isn’t all bad though, as in the latest video Savage and Deadpool bond over their love of a Nickelback song.
It was brilliant on the part of the production to bring in the Princess Bride aspect, there’s no one better for Deadpool to tell a bedtime story to.
