Full Moon Features Begins Principal Photography on Deadly Ten Anthology

Full Moon Features is back with plans for new original films.

The studio behind classic horror films like Re-Animator, From Beyond, Ghoulies and the Puppet Master franchise is creating its Deadly Ten anthology.

They started principal photography on two of their feature films with Halloweed Night and Necropolis.

Halloweed Night: Meet the Weedies will be its inaugural feature film in the series with director Danny Draven (Reel Evil) at the helm of the ganja-filled take of Charles Band cult classic Ghoulies.  The film stars Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), Howard Stern Show’s Richard Christy and Medicated Pete, comedian Ester Goldberg, Mindy Robinson (Evil Bong), Playboy model Bridget Marquardt and Internet critic Shawn “Cooler Duder” Phillips. The film is written by Shane Bitterling and produced by Charles Band.

This film will start production on June 11 in Las Vegas.

Following this film, Necropolis: Legion will start lensing from filmmaker and former Fangoria magazine editor Chris Alexander. This is a gothic, bloody film that’ll be a companion film to the 1986 Charles Band-produced Empire Pictures exploitation film. The film features a demonic vampire witch named Eva (Ali Chappell) who drinks blood through her breasts, while possessing a young writer (Augie Duke) doing research on her story. The film production will start on June 22 in Canada.

The site DeadlyTen.com will feature pre-production videos, FX tutorials and casting sessions for each movie. Deadly Ten anthology will premiere exclusively on the Full Moon Features streaming channels.

Other eight films in the works will include: Blade: The Iron Cross, Bride of the Head of the Family, Sorority Babes In the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2, Subspecies V: Blood Rise, The Hourglass, Femalien: Cosmic Crush, Shadowheart Curse and The Grim Rapper.
