FURIOUS 8’s production is chugging right along, and with that, they’ve released yet another behind-the-scenes video, courtesy of our friends over at ComicBook.com.

In this production video, we get an inside look at how they executed wth they call the “Zombie Cars” stunt. In it, we see a myriad of vehicles fall from the windows of a building onto a large pile of other cars already in place. We’re sure there are some car junkies out there cursing their screens as they watch this.

Here’s what FURIOUS 8 Special Effects Supervisor J.D. Schwalm had to say about the stunt.

“We have seven cars falling from the parking structure, and each one of them is aiming at a motorcade here. We have to pull these cars at an exact speed, and we’re doing that using the winch on the crane. Each car comes out in succession to land on the vehicles on the road here. Obviously, there’s no one in them because they’re about to be impaled by 3000-pound lawn darts.”

Who says big budget movies always have to have an overabundance of CG?!

FURIOUS 8 will see the return of Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Jordana Brewster, Evan Mendes, Lucas Black, Nathalie Emmanuel, and of course, Vin Diesel. The film will also star Charlize Theron and is directed by STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON director F. Gary Gray.

FURIOUS 8 hits theaters on April 14, 2017.
