Dark/Web’s Gabriel Luna Is A New Terminator, Cast Rounds Out

The moving train of Terminator 6 just keeps on churning ahead. Following the mammoth failure of Terminator Genisys, it seemed like the franchise was beyond dead. After three failed sequels to T2: Judgment Day, it seemed like there was no reviving this series, right? Wrong. James Cameron hopped back on board as producer, bringing with him Deadpool director Tim Miller.

Also returning to the franchise are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, reprising the roles that made them pop culture icons. Mackenzie Davis then signed on as the “face” of the new franchise, and while the human element is definitely important, the actual Terminator element is equally as important. Who would they get as the new model? Who could possibly follow up the likes of Schwarzenegger and Robert Patrick?

According to Deadline, the man in question is none other than Gabriel Luna, who is perhaps best known for his role as Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He is also in El Rey Network’s series Matador, and will (most importantly) also star in our very own Dark/Web series, which is set to releases soon! There is no word yet on what type of Terminator he’ll be, but I’m excited to see where this technology will advance next.

Also joining the main cast are Natalia Reyes (Lady) and Diego Boneto (Scream Queens) in undisclosed roles.

What do you think of Gabriel Luna as the next Terminator? Let us know your thoughts down below!
