Game Of Thrones: Maisie Williams Drops Major Spoiler On Jimmy Fallon?

Game of Thrones‘ final season has been shrouded in secrecy. Back during the production of said final season, actor Liam Cunningham revealed that even he didn’t have access to the script, and could only get his hands on digital versions while under strict watch. Given that the show is one that lives and dies by the lives and the deaths of its core cast, you know they were taking security very seriously. As far as we’ve known, there weren’t any Mark Ruffalos in the cast of this show.

As they passed the source material, it became increasingly important that the viewing experience not be spoiled by leaks within the production. With the actors and actresses making the rounds for promotion, however, they are the most in danger of spilling the beans, and that puts a whole lot of pressure on them. It was inevitable that something would be revealed, right? Well, that seemed to happen on an episode of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

Okay, by now, it’s clear that it was an April Fools’ joke, and I’m sorry if you came here expecting a genuine reveal here, but I buried that aspect of the video in the third paragraph, because I think some of the experience is lost when you don’t know for sure if it is a joke or not. Either way, actress Maisie Williams did a great job of pretending to get increasingly panicked by her “reveal.”
