Get Ready To ‘Fight For The Future Of Mutant Kind’ In House Of X and Powers Of X Trailer

A couple of months ago we learned that Johnathan Hickman the writer for such Marvel Comics’ titles like Fantastic Four, The Avengers, Infinity and Secret Wars would be taking on two new X-Men titles to “redefine the X-Men and their place in the Marvel Universe” according to Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski. The titles are House of X and Powers of X. Today Marvel released a new trailer for the two series. Check it out above!

X-Men comic books as of late had been a bit of a mess with so many titles including the not so well received Inhuamns vs. X-Men back a few years back. These two stories that will take place in House of X and Powers of X tell separate stories that in the end come together to redefine the X-Men for the foreseeable future.

“House of X and Powers of X are two stories that act as one story. They absolutely are separate, but by the end they collide together and coming out of that is the new paradigm for the X-Men universe,” explains Hickman.

In the trailer they talk about how Hickman takes from many different era’s of X-Men and brings them together to “revolutionize” everything we know about our favorite classic Marvel heroes and villains. Editor Jordan D. White promises that, “If you have been a fan of X-Men in any era, there is something in here for you.”

Even though this is being called another milestone moment for the mutants, they also say that it’s new reader friendly. Which for me who hasn’t read many X-Men comics in the past hope that is the case as I would love to jump on and start on Hickman’s new titles that are just about a month away. Are you looking forward to both of these X-Men titles? Let us know in the comment section below!

Marvel Comics’ House of X #1 hits comic book stands on July 24th and soon after will be joined by Powers of X #1 on July 31st.
