GLOW Season 2 kind of ended on a bittersweet note. Yes, the production of GLOW itself went pretty damn well, but the women got screwed out of a TV deal out of the network’s sheer unwillingness to air the show at a reasonable time and an unwillingness to let the project go altogether, leaving the group in an awkward limbo. Luckily for them, their network deal said nothing about live shows, and we got to see our girls heading to Las Vegas!

From the looks of things in the new trailer, things seem to hit off pretty well for them in Sin City, for better and worse. Yes, their shows do seem to be selling out, but it does come at a price of having to essentially live in Vegas indefinitely, and that appears to be one of the main tensions of the season.

I’m happy to see the dynamic of the group appears to be intact in this latest season, with there being a lot more internal conflict. This can be good and bad. With this type of season, I’m sure there’s a lot these gals will have to wrestle with (pun intended) from within, but I really loved it when we had a good bad guy on the outside as well, and perhaps this new Geena Davis character will fill that role.
