Gotham: Joker Revealed In Final Episodes TV Spot

It’s all been leading to this. Sort of. I mean, when Gotham first started airing, I very much thought they could live off the premise of just following Jim Gordon and his early years in the Gotham City Police Department. From there, we’d see a more grounded city of villains more in line with what we’d expect from the real world…at least that’s what I thought it would be. Instead, we got the weird hyper-violent, yet deliciously-cartoony world of Gotham.

As the first season progressed, it was very clear the showrunners were opting to lean heavily into the rogues’ gallery of the Caped Crusader. I mean, in the second season, the tagline was “Rise of the Villains,” so it’s clear they were ready to dig deep into the character’s Rolodex of baddies. But would they actually dig into the character of the Joker? That was one of the major questions many fans had. Honestly, I didn’t think it would happen…but I’m often wrong.

The series has given us a couple of fakeouts over the course of its run, seemingly giving us a “version” of the Joker before twisting things around. Recently, we’ve shared some set photos showing off their Joker for the final episodes of the show, and now in the new TV spot for said final episodes, we get to see this Joker in his full glory.
