Guardians 3: Kraglin’s Story Ain’t Done Yet…Supposedly

As of this writing, the future of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is up in the air. Director James Gunn has been pulled from the project, and though his script is reportedly still going to be used as the backbone going forward, the absence of a director is making it hard to tell whether this will happen at all.

Needless to say, this also means that the fate of some characters is still unknown, especially after the snap in Avengers: Infinity War. One such character is Kraglin — the character who’s managed to survive the decimation of the Ravagers and the explosion of Ego’s Planet. Somehow, of all characters, he’s managed to survive and go on to be on the more sympathetic characters of the franchise.

So what’s this dude got going for him in the future?

“I think I can say this: I don’t think Kraglin’s story is finished yet. I think the fans will, at least, get to know what happens with Kraglin, even though I can’t share that right now.”

Sadly, there was little more he can share, but that’s a nice little detail. I don’t think the effects of the snap from Thanos will stay, and as such, it’s a bit irrelevant whether or not he survived it, but it was a bit odd that the character wasn’t with the Guardians in Infinity War, so it’s cool to see he still likely has a role in the franchise going forward.
