It has been a busy marketing week for the production of the upcoming Halloween film due out this fall. This week has included tweets from producer Jason Blum announcing the date of the trailer’s release, set photos being released and a quick teaser posted on the film’s official social media accounts. Today is no different as we approach the official release of the trailer tomorrow.
Today, both the official film accounts and the accounts belonging to star Jamie Lee Curtis have shared new short teasers for the trailer, featuring new scenes from the film. First up, the account @HalloweenMovie shared theirs, which features quick cuts with voiceover from Curtis’ Laurie Strode character, ending on the Michael Myers mask and titles.

Meanwhile, Curtis shared a teaser with a bit of a shoutout to the original John Carpenter film. In this 27-second teaser, the footage shows what seems to be a small home in the middle of nowhere, surrounded with security measures and partially destroyed mannequins. While the footage rolls, Curtis’ Strode is heard singing the same tune she sings to herself walking to school while being stalked by Michael in the original film. Finally, an older Laurie steps into frame, aims a revolver at a mannequin and fires a round into its head. The same mask and titles appear at the end as well.
