Hawkman Cast In Black Adam

Are you ready to see Hawkman on the big screen?

Exciting news for those who are anticipating the appearance of Carter Hall A.K.A Hawkman in Black Adam. Aldis Hodge swooped in to take the role of Hawkman per a report at The Hollywood Reporter. The report notes they are in final negotiations which is probably just a formality at this point. This is a great bit of casting and hope many fans can rally behind. If you have seen Hodge in any of his roles then you know he has a certain charisma. Hawkman has always had a certain charisma regardless of where he shows up in DC Comics.

What should we expect of Hawkman?

Hawkman will make up part of the Justice Society of America in Black Adam. Over time, Hawkman’s reinvention has happened about as many times as his reincarnation. With the history of the character it is hard to say which version we will see in Black Adam. Hopefully, since they are going with the JSA we will see what I believe to be the best version of the character. As long as the backstory and general mythology of the character does not change, then we may see the start of what could be a wonderful future franchise.

Black Adam is slated for late winter or spring 2021 production start.
