If you can believe it, the impending Hellboy reboot isn’t that far away. It’s set to hit theaters this coming January. However, if you’ve been following the production closely on this thing, you may be surprised that it isn’t hitting sooner, as it went into production almost exactly a year ago. This means that we’re around a year from production having started, four months from its release, and we still have yet to see anything but a still image of actor David Harbour as the title character.
Well, I’d imagine that’ll change soon. New York Comic Con just revealed that Hellboy would be coming to their convention, along with stars David Harbour, Sasha Bianca, and Daniel Dae Kim and comic book creator Mike Mignola. The panel will take place on Saturday, October 6…but the real question is…will there be a trailer?

Given that the film will be just north of three months from its intended release by the time that panel takes place, I think it goes without saying that there will be footage shown at this thing. However, with it being so damn close to its release, I’d be ridiculously surprised if us, the general population, didn’t get a trailer showing off this darker, grittier take on the character.
Will you be in attendance at NYCC? Do you think we’ll be getting our first trailer for the film, or will that land BEFORE the panel? Let us know down below!
