Honest Posters Are Here To Mock The Oscars: Rejoice!

Everyone loves Honest Trailers (…honestly, I didn’t at first because I hated when they criticized movies I loved and I had a stick up my butt, but that is besides the point)! So, now Shiznit presents Honest Posters! For Oscar Nominated films, not limited to Best Picture noms.

Included in the link below are posters for They Should Have Nominated The Ass Jeans (A Star Is Born), F—k The Queen (The Favourite), The Mexican Mary Poppins Remake Is Grim (Roma), Needs More Flags (First Man), Best Popular Film (Black Panther), and my favorite, With Mel & I (Can You Ever Forgive Me), among others.

Though I won’t spoil all the fun, as you really should see them for yourselves as they are quite funny, there are some great taglines as well, including:

The Favorite – “You Can Tell This Movie Is Weird Just By Looking At The Fonts.”

Vice – “You Don’t Know Dick” and “Cheney’s Got A Gun.”

Green Book – “Together They Solved Racism With Civility.”

Destroyer – “No Actress In History Has Done Anything This Extreme – Someone Who Never Saw Monster.”

The best tagline of all would be Bohemian Rhapsody’s, but that one needs to be seen as it is written on the poster for greatest effect.

You also get some other great poster gags like listing “Christian Bale is Hungry For Oscars” on the Vice Honest Poster.

I’d love to see more Honest Posters for multiple films throughout the year, but what did you think of these posters? Hilarious? Too Real? Let us know in the comments below!
