How Long Is Avengers: Endgame Without The Credits?

There have been a lot of articles on how long Avengers: Endgame will be. We’ve run several ourselves over the last few months. We know that the movie from beginning to lights up is 3:00:57 but how much of that is movie and how much is credits? According to Comic Book Movie the credits start rolling at 2:48:56 and there is a five-minute gap between those initial credits and the start of the long crawling credit. Does that mean we’ll be getting a mid-credit scene? I think so… I hope so!

To put that run time into perspective I put in my Blu-ray copy of Infinity War and the screen goes black at 2:17:29. That means we’re getting 31 more minutes of movie this time! A lot can happen in 31 minutes.

There’s no information on any type of special intro credits or anything like that, but those are usually quick to be done. If you remember Infinity War well you’ll probably agree that is had an awesome pace and felt shorter than it is. The Guardians of the Galaxy show up just over 27 minutes into the film and by then we saw Thor’s people destroyed, Banner/Hulk meeting Dr. Strange, Tony and Pepper talking, and the fight in NYC with Spidey and the Black Order. I remember thinking there was no way the movie could be done when we see Thanos smiling at the sunset/rise and not because I didn’t think it could end that way, but I thought it had only been about two hours and figured there were another 30 minutes to go.

I hope Endgame has the exact same effect.

What do you think about the actual amount of film we’ll be getting? How are you prepping to be in the seat for nearly 3.5 hours (with trailers)? Let us know in the comments below!
