Incredibles 2 Gets An ‘Incredible Summer’ Poster

Avengers: Infinity War may be the biggest film of the year, but don’t think that it doesn’t have any real competition. Perhaps its biggest contender comes in the form of a sequel to a Pixar movie. Of course, I’m talking about Incredibles 2, the long-awaited follow-up to the 2004 original.

Thus far, the most extensive look we’ve had of the film so far was during the Olympics, and while we still have few details behind the movie, and its overall story/villain, it’s still quite the hotly-anticipated film. Pixar can sense our hunger for more, but instead of releasing a new trailer, there’s now a new poster that has been making the rounds.

Sadly, you shouldn’t expect any more details. It’s a cute little poster featuring the family on summer vacation. They’ve clearly been getting a little sun, and as a result, have tan-lines around their eyes (Get it? Because, masks). It’s fun…but we want more!

Below is the official synopsis for Incredibles 2:

Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Incredibles 2 hits theaters on June 15, 2018.
