Katee Sackhoff really knows how to play the social media game. Yesterday we reported here on LRM that a Cara Dune spinoff show was in the works over at Lucasfilm. We didn’t really have any other details besides it would star Gina Carano of course. But a little after we had reported the news Kessel Run Transmissions added more to the story. They heard that Bo Kataan would be featured in the spinoff series as well. While social media has had a mixed reaction to the news, someone of key importance seemingly liked the news.
Noah and Corey over at Kessel Run Transmissions noticed on The Star Wars Underworld Twitter account that Katee Sackhoff like a tweet reporting the news from yesterday. Check it out below:

Coincidence? I think not. pic.twitter.com/5ebWIIu2UF

Out of all the casting rumors surrounding season 2 of The Mandalorian, the rumor of Katee Sackhoff is the only one left that has not been confirmed through her casting agency or Disney+ social media. The only thing we have to go off is Katee’s participation on social media between Gina Carano and Sasha Banks who both will be in The Mandalorian. We might be looking to hard into this and it might be Katee playing around with the Star Wars fanbase. She could be doing what Rahul Kohli has done in the past two weeks. Honestly, I want this to be true and have Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff teaming up in a new Star Wars show. What do you all think? Is Katee just playing with our emotions? Let us know in the comment section below.
