Right now, you may notice there’s a wet SUICIDE SQUAD-shaped blanket covering the site. There’s a heck of a lot riding on that flick, and with the not-so-positive critical reception, fans are more than interested in getting all the information they can regarding the film. As interesting as that all is, however, we can’t forget that the other big superhero studio, Marvel, is hard at work on some great stuff of their own.

Pretty high up on that list is next year’s THOR: RAGNAROK, a film that will see Thor and Bruce Banner/the Hulk set off on an intergalactic road trip together. It’s the stuff of dreams for fans to get a chance to see these heroes interact for an entire flick — especially considering how well Ruffalo’s Hulk was received in both AVENGERS films.

While filming for the picture has been underway since July, and we expect they’ll continue filming in Australia in the coming months (BASED ON THE SET PHOTOS for Asgard that were shown a few days back), it looks like Ruffalo has finished filming his scenes, as evidenced by a couple of his instagram posts:

But what may be a sad day for Mark Ruffalo is a good day for fans. His wrap means that his scenes are officially in the can, and we are one step closer to seeing this movie become a reality. While THOR: THE DARK WORLD wasn’t my favorite film, I still very much enjoy Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of the character, and look forward to his and Ruffalo’s chemistry in the film. It’s a premise with a lot of potential that I hope won’t disappoint come next year.

My only possible concern with this, however, is that Ruffalo finished his scenes so quickly — literally a month into production. Granted, it’s entirely possible that they purposely scheduled it as such, but given how much there is left to shoot, I can’t help but wonder if he’s not in the film nearly as much as we think. Either way, I suppose we’ll have to wait to find out.

THOR: RAGNAROK hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
