When the trailer for Kong: Skull Island came out a few months ago, it took a lot of people by surprise. The film’s got a great cast, and it looks like it may end up being an epically good time at the movies. The announcement of the film itself at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 was met with lots of positive buzz, and everything that’s come from the Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures production since then has only added to that.

Kong: Skull Island is set to star Brie Larson, who’s going to play Captain Marvel in 2019 (and is reportedly going to pop up in Avengers: Infinity War), as well Tom Hiddleston, John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Goodman.

There’s a new banner for Kong: Skull Island which you can see right here:

When a scientific expedition to an uncharted island awakens titanic forces of nature, a mission of discovery becomes an explosive war between monster and man. Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman and John C. Reilly star in a thrilling and original new adventure that reveals the untold story of how Kong became King.

Kong: Skull Island hopes to rule the box office, and the world, when it comes out on March 10.

The film will also, presumably, plant the seeds for a King Kong vs Godzilla movie that’s in the works. Should be interesting!
