Jason Momoa’s Sci-Fi Drama See Gets A New Trailer

While I may enjoy me some Apple products (I have an iPad, a MacBook Pro, and Apple TV), I can’t say I’m too thrilled with them joining the streaming game. They have no experience in the entertainment space, and from everything we’ve heard so far, it sounds like they’re being fairly intrusive on the creative process for the shows — potentially to a fault.

So, it’s with that in mind that I went into the trailer for See, a new sci-fi drama starring Jason Momoa. set hundreds of years in the future, it features a world where humanity has lost their vision. Now, the new generation of humans are born with the gift of sight. What does this mean for them going forward? That’s the big question.

At today’s special Apple event, they dropped the trailer for See, and if the trailer is any indication, this could be something very unique and engaging, even for those like me who aren’t too keen on Apple joining the entertainment world.

Below is the official synopsis for See:

“In the far future, a virus has decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind.

Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed. Alfre Woodard also stars as Paris, Baba Voss’ spiritual leader.”
