J.K. Rowling Addresses on the Possibility of ‘Harry Potter 8’ Book

J.K. Rowling is about as cryptic as one of her puzzles in her novels.

During an interview with Matt Lauer, the author teased about the rumors for the next “Harry Potter” book.

“I have always said never say never,” she said. “I’ve always said I’m not going to say ‘I definitely won’t’ because – I don’t see why I should say that.”

She is already back in the Harry Potter world by writing scripts for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” for Warner Brothers Pictures. It’s based on the 2001 companion book of the series about the magical monsters in that world.

After getting everyone’s hopes up including Lauer, she added, “But I think ‘Harry Potter 8,’ as in what happened next to Harry, Ron and Hermione – I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

If you’re reading between the lines, then it basically mean there won’t be a continuation of the three. However, it sounds like she left the door open possibility of other stories.

Only time could tell. So never say never as we’re hoping.
