Joe Quesada Shares Daredevil Season 3 Artwork

Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones is set to hit Netflix this coming weekend, but don’t think that they’ve forgotten about everyone’s favorite blind vigilante, Daredevil. He’s the man who started off this little pocket Marvel universe, and is the one fans tend to be most eager to see, and while we still don’t know exactly when that’ll be, all signs point to it being later this year.

Marvel Entertainment’s chief creative officer, Joe Quesada, took to Twitter to show off a new tease for the upcoming third season of the show. While it doesn’t really do much to hint at the actual content, it does have a nice retro feel that fans fo the comic book character will likely get a kick out of.

But what does Season 3 of Daredevil have in store for Matt Murdock? When last we see the vigilante, he woke up in a room full of nuns. Fans of the comic recognized the shot as a nod to the famous Born Again storyline from comics legend Frank Miller. Between the hints of that story in Daredevil Season 2 and The Defenders, it seems like the next logical path for the story to take.

For those who don’t know, the story sees Wilson Fisk finding out Daredevil’s identity. He burns down his house freezes his assets, and pretty much dismantles the entire world around poor Matt. Given that Fisk seemed very much on the verge of finding out about his identity in Season 2, fans are hungry to see that story come to fruition.
