John Krasinski Calls Out Chris Evans For Robbing Him Of Captain America Role

Chris Evans has pulled off a move that’s not easy to do, he has successfully shed a bad outing as a superhero and replaced it with what is now one of the more beloved portrayals of a superhero in Captain America. While it would be hard to imagine someone else in that role (I mean leading up to this point, Anthony Mackie should be great), there was a time when actor John Krasinski was being considered for the part.

Krasinski jokingly accused Chris Evans of robbing him of the part in a Twitter post and asked him to pay up by donating to his Family Reach organization, you can check out the post below.

Here is Evans’ reply.

As I said before it would be hard to imagine anyone but Chris Evans as Cap, but Krasinski would likely be the easiest actor to visualize in the role. For some time now Krasinski has been the choice of many fans to play Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four and, I mean, let’s be honest he would be as close to perfect for the role as anyone, and with the team now heading tot he Marvel Cinematic Universe, we all anxiously await casting news.

Do you think John Krasinski would have made a better America’s Ass? Let us know in the comments down below!
