John Krasinski continues to find success in his different crafts. After scoring in big in 2018 not only with his writing and directing of A Quiet Place, but also his hit series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Krasinski has now signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios. Under his Sunday Night production banner, alongside partner Allyson Seeger and the company’s development executive Alexa Ginsburg, Krasinski will work to develop television projects that will air in over 200 countries and territories throughout the world.

Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, had this to say regarding the deal:

“With his incredible authenticity and versatility, John Krasinski has brought to life some of entertainment’s most recognizable roles, including our own hero Jack Ryan. John’s talents extend behind the screen as a prolific writer, director and producer with a keen eye for creating original characters and stories with global appeal. We welcome John, Allyson, Alexa and the rest of the Sunday Night team to the family and can’t wait to see what they bring to our Amazon Prime Video customers all over the world.”

Krasinski added, “Everyone at Sunday Night is very excited to continue our partnership with Amazon Studios. Jen has been a friend and collaborator since back in my ‘Office’ days and her vision and expectation for what she wants Amazon Studios to become is exactly where we want to be.”

Under the deal, Krasinski will still continue to star in and executive produce Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan for the streaming service, which will soon release the highly anticipated second season. Krasinski has currently begun production on the sequel to A Quiet Place, which grossed over $341 million worldwide.
