John Wick 3 Director Says He And Keanu Reeves Have ‘Ideas For Days’ For Sequels

Are you ready for John Wick to be the next Fast and Furious franchise? Okay, so maybe it won’t blow up to be that big, but it doesn’t sound like it’ll be going anywhere any time soon. John Wick 3: Parabellum is on its way, as is a TV show called The Continental, which will cover other inner workings of the criminal underworld. But don’t expect that to be the end of it.

Like many creative folks out there, director Chad Stahelski has many irons in the fire, and when it comes to the world of John Wick, he’s more than willing to come back again, should these other projects perform well enough to warrant it.

“I enjoy making these movies because there’s no limit,” Stahelski told EW. “We create our own mythology, and we have a studio that both stays out of our way and supports us on the wacky decisions. If people go see the movie, and it makes money, and they came back to us, Keanu and I have ideas for days. I could live here for the rest of my career. If people like it and want to watch more, I could think of worse ways to spend your career. But, you know, we’re in the entertainment business. We’ll let the audience figure that out.”

Honestly, that sounds like the mind of a blue-collar worker — someone who is more than willing to churn out what the audience wants. Luckily, based on his comments, he’s more than happy to do so, and so long as these movies continue to be solid ones, why not, right?

But what do you think? Are you worried that the John Wick franchise will grow stale with too many films? Let us know your thoughts down below!
