Life has never been easy for John Wick, but with him having a $14 million bounty on his head following the events in John Wick: Chapter 2, you’d better bet things are getting a whole lot harder for him in the upcoming sequel, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. And yeah, this new trailer from Lionsgate makes no secret of this.

We see a ragged John Wick on the run — not just from normal mobsters, but from the most dangerous people in the entirety underworld. The neon-laden look of the first two movies continues on in this threequel, along with a chill-inducing music cue here that really manages to make things emotional. And herein lies the strength of John Wick. It may be basic genre fare and it may even be simplistic in its overall story, but we still give a damn about this guy and want him to be happy.

Couldn’t be more thrilled to see John Wick return in such top form. And there are still dogs!
