Jordan Peele To Be Host Of His Twilight Zone Reboot

We have the first teaser from Oscar-winner Jordan Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone. Feel free to check out the video above. It has a very retro feel to it, indicating how much Peele respects the original series. We also have confirmation that Peele himself will be hosting the show after initially being reluctant to do so. In speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Peele talked about carrying on the legacy of the show’s original host, Rod Serling.

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.’”

In my opinion, The Twilight Zone is one of best television shows, ever. Sure, it was made decades ago and some of the acting and production isn’t quite up to  the level  we are used to seeing, however, it’s the stories that are important, many, if not most are absolutely fantastic. Peele has now proven himself more than capable of handling different genres including comedy and horror. Now we will get to see his take on science-fiction, and quite frankly I am excited to see what Peele has to offer the genre.
