Justice League Bad CG Chronicles Vol. 2: Henry Cavill’s Hands Were Also CGI In Justice League?

Just how in the hell did we miss this?

Justice League famously went through some dramatic production woes, with continuous reshoots in addition to the ridiculous amount of reshoots that came just months before the film’s release. Because star Henry Cavill was sporting a mustache for his role in Mission: Impossible – Fallout, he couldn’t very well shave the mustache, as it would have made that film look odd (though, he really could have, Paramount).

The result? The ever-famous upper lip of one Man of Steel. Even as someone who isn’t really affected too much by bad CG (story is much more important to me), his face distracted the hell out of me. And if it distracted the hell out of me, God knows what it was like for those more prone to dislike obvious CG. But it turns out that his upper lip wasn’t the only thing being CG, as Twitter users Mike Hope revealed.

Yup, that’s in your brain now. You’ll never be able to unsee it after taking a look at that image. How in the hell did we actually manage NOT to notice this while watching? More importantly…why did they need to CG his hands? HE was actually wearing a damn suit!

This baffles me to no end, and I can’t wait for us to get an eventual explanation as to why this is the case. Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? Not at all. But it’s damn weird.
