A few weeks back, the watchful eyes at Reddit caught an image from the Suicide Squad viral website called Argus-gov, that shows the file on the short-lived Slipknot, which detailed his moving to Keystone City to, “…pursue his criminal ambitions.” DC comic fans will tell ya that Barry Allen is from Central City, and Wally West and Jay Garrick are from Keystone City, and these two cities are sister cities. Check the photo below.
The news caused some speculation that either the Justice League film would have Barry living in Keystone City, or perhaps we may get to see Wally West or Jay Garrick in some capacity. Now, I am almost positive that in Suicide Squad, Captain Boomerang got caught by The Flash in Central City, so I just assumed that the two cities would coexist much like they do in the Flash DC CW show. But, thanks to an “accidental” photo posted by The British Society of Cinematographers (BSC), that shows Fabian Wagner, the Justice League cinematographer, standing in front of a sign we assume reads Central City, we can be pretty certain where Barry stays. You should also notice the other sign behind it that reads, “Reduced Speed Ahead.” Oh Zack Snyder, you dog you. Take a look.
In addition, I did say we only ASSUME the sign reads Central City, but part of Central is blocked by a camera rig. So using my expert journalistic instinct — I went to a scrabble cheat site, just to see if it could read something else! It is possible, that we could be visiting; Censual City, Ceramal City, or due to the short width of the letter “I” there is always a chance, albeit infinitesimal, of Cervical City. Again, I am going with Central City.
Justice League is set to drop Nov 17th, 2017, the film is directed by Zack Snyder and will star Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, and Ciarán Hinds will take on the role of Steppenwolf.
So what do you think, could Jay or Wally show up? Will The Flash for sure live in Central City? Would you like to live in Censual City where census workers show up at your door every day? Let’s hear from you!
