Ok, I have already given a warning “be prepared for these” and every time an actor gets confirmed for Infinity War, usually by their own doing, it is our duty to report it to you. We have another today as Nebula, played by Karen Gillan, has confirmed in a quote with the BBC (gasp) that she will indeed be in Avengers: Infinity War.

And then I’ll be making a little appearance in the next Avengers movies.

Boom. Confirmed.

However, let’s examine the aspect of this sentence, “Making a little appearance.” Will this be a 20 second appearance, a flashback, or perhaps a quick death scene? Or maybe she is underplaying itand she is a huge part. We will know more in a few months when one of my favorite franchises of all time, Guardians Of The Galaxy, returns.

Nebula is one of Thanos’ daughters, along with Gamora. He has the tendency in the comics to take a female from a destroyed world as either a prize or a warning. She is almost a full cyborg, as seen in GOTG, and she is actually a badass. If Gamora could turn her away from the “dark side of the force” she could benefit the Guardians, and I suspect this will be a main plot line in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.

Gillan has also appeared in The Big Short as Evie, she made an appearance in the loved Doctor Who series, she starred in Occulus, and will be in the new Dwayne Johnson Jumanji.

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

What do you think, is Gillan good as Nebula? Would she have been a better Gamora? Why am I excited about Jumanji?
