Kevin Feige Not Giving Full Attention To Incoming Fox Properties, Yet

Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige is hard at work on the current slate of Marvel films, but in the back of his mind, are ideas for the properties that Disney is likely to acquire if their deal with Fox is finalized. Feige recently spoke with the Los Angeles Daily News,  and said that first and foremost, he is concentrating on the upcoming releases.

“My desire is to get Ant-Man and the Wasp in theaters and successful. Then complete filming on Captain Marvel this week and to get the next Spider-Man on camera, then to continue to work on Avengers 4 in the cutting room. I’m very busy for the foreseeable future.”

Feige continued, saying that while he has begun thinking about them, he will wait for the official go-ahead.

“Not until we’re given the word. I have vague dreams and vague ideas. But right now, bringing to life the 10,000-plus characters that Marvel fully controls is what the gameplan is.”
Well, at least the early work for their inclusion into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has started, even if it’s all in Feige’s head at this point. While I am yet to see the Ant-Man and the Wasp, I have read that the film sort of, maybe, opens the door for mutants in the MCU.
