Legion Season 2 Gets A Premiere Date, Synopsis, & Banner

FX’s critically-acclaimed X-Men-themed series Legion is headed into Season 2, and while we’ve known that it would be coming out this year, a release date has eluded us…until now.

According to Deadline, Legion Season 2 is set to premiere on April 3, 2018 at 10pm. In addition to this reveal, we also got a brand-new banner, and synopsis. You can check out the banner above and the synopsis below:

“With David and Oliver missing and Farouk on the loose, the team forms an unlikely alliance with their former enemy Clark and his well-funded government organization, Division III. Meanwhile, Amahl Farouk (Navid Negahban) is on a new path to attaining infinite and world-ending power.”

If you’ve missed Legion in the past, it’s a show I highly recommend. While Fox’s The Gifted is a very standard and safe story about mutants discovering their powers and coming into their own, Legion is a very different kind of series. Thanks to the more psychic and telepathic nature of its lead David Haller (son of Professor X), it has a more surreal story style and aesthetic. While the show may take a bit more to get into, once you make it past midway, it’s a smooth ride to the end of the season. I highly recommend giving it a shot.
