Ever since he first appeared in Thor Loki has been a fan favorite villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is charismatic, twisted, hungry for attention, and above all else unpredictable… sorta. You can predict he will try to backstab you, but if you know that then you can see it coming (Thor: Ragnarok). His turn as the first baddie to unite the Avengers was great, and comic accurate to a degree, and his death in Infinity War actually shocked people. The love people have for him should have made it no surprise when it was announced he would have a series on Disney+, and Disney just released the first official image regarding it.
This image came from a meeting with executives and investors and gives us a look at the official logo as well as some concept art. What’s odd about this is the setting appears to be the mid-70s. This is obvious by the Jaws movie marquee and the cars. We can see Loki, the dude in green, walking amongst the people possibly contemplating how he will subjugate them. The question is, which Loki is this? Is this the prime-timeline Loki in the past? Is this the Loki that escaped in Endgame having figured out time travel somehow? Nobody knows as of now.
