Mark Ruffalo Says He Shot A Scene For Infinity War In Which Hulk Got Snapped

The now infamous snap of the Purple Titan, Thanos, which eliminated half of all life in the universe. Fans were forced to watch as some of their favorite heroes turned to ash before their eyes. As it turns out, there was at least a slight possibility that one of those heroes was going to be Hulk.

During an interview with Yahoo!, Mark Ruffalo, who as you probably know plays Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, explained thatthat he filmed a death scene for Hulk to potentially be used in Avengers: Infinity War

“For one take, I did disappear, and then the other one I didn’t. I was pretty sure it was gonna be me. It’s like Survivor. It’s like, who’s gonna get kicked off the island? And I probably should’ve. … It’s like Project Runway for leakers.”

Was this scene shot specifically for Ruffalo because of his propensity to blurt out spoilers? Possibly, but we can’t say that for sure. Hulk is part of the original team, and seeing how they were the heroes to survive, it doesn’t seem likely that the Russos ever had any intentions of using this scene. As they’ve said before there is a reason the original six Avengers made it through the snappening.
