About three years ago, NBC brought back one of it’s popular shows for a revival run: Will & Grace. The show opened up with high ratings and much fanfare as the series was renewed for a second season. Quickly making up for what was perceived as errors in series finale back in 2006, the series revival corrected its mistakes within the first season.
Now, as they prepare for their third season, it seems it will be the revival’s last. Star Megan Mullally, who plays the hilarious Karen, posted on her Instagram a picture with the rest of the cast expressing sad faces over the decision to end its second run.

All things must pass, and the Will & Grace television program is no exception. We’ve decided to end the show after this 3rd revival season… I know, it’s very sad! We’ll miss you! The 3rd and final season of Will & Grace will begin airing on NBC January 2020, so don’t miss out. Lots of love and huge thanks to you from everyone at Will & Grace.

Even after 11 years off the air, Will & Grace still found a way to be topical, relevant, and edgy while continuing with the humor that made it such a hit years ago. Given they “corrected” the errors in the first finale, one can’t help but wonder how they plan to end things the second time around. Fans will have to tune in when the season premiere airs to prepare themselves for the final story arch of Will, Grace, Karen, and Jack.
The final season of Will & Grace premieres January 2020.
