Morbius Takes Flight In Set Videos

Morbius has never been one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, and it somewhat surprised me that the character was getting his own spin-off film, but he does have a strong following.  As we know, Jared Leto will be donning the lead role (and this time we hope to actually see him as the lead character rather than the spotty appearances his Joker received in Suicide Squad) who has often taken to social media to provide updates on the film.

MorbiusUpdates has taken to Twitter to post some set videos regarding The Living Vampire, which can be seen below:

Not a huge reveal, but some fun hovering none-the-less.  For anyone unfamiliar with Morbius’ background:

Morbius the Living Vampire, a.k.a. Dr. Michael Morbius, Ph.D., M.D., is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, and the character first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #101.

It is assumed that the film will cover Morbius’ origin, but not many plot details have been released otherwise.  What do you think of a Morbius: The Living Vampire movie?  Do you think it will be successful like Venom, or would you prefer a different villain?  Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!

Morbius: The Living Vampire hits theaters July 31, 2020.
