Whilst we don’t really know too much about what’s going on in Avengers 4, there certainly seem to be more and more clues pointing towards time travel being a major part of the movie.
Firstly we had set photo’s showing the battle of New York from the first Avengers movie, including Captain America appearing just as he did in that movie. Then we found out further measures were taken to match the scenery up exactly with the first Avengers movie.

No one is going to come right out and tell us what’s involved with Avengers 4, we will have to piece the little snippets together, but that’s a part of the fun of this game, right? Well, we now have some more fuel for the fire and this time it comes from Ant-Man and the Wasp star Evangeline Lilly. In an interview with ComicBook, alongside her co-star Paul Rudd, Lilly revealed that Avengers 4 reminded her of her time on hit show Lost.
“When I heard about Infinity War and Avengers 4 and the direction that they’re heading, I did have this moment of realizing, oh, wow, there’s a bit of a déjà vu for me with the Lost franchise. We are hitting that Lost Season 4 space where everything’s about to shift, and you’re about to lose the solid ground underneath you. And Ant-Man and the Wasp, of course, will play a part in that.”
For those unaware of what happened in Lost Season 4, it was the season of the show where we realized the narrative was jumping forwards and backwards in time all at once. I was a big fan of Lost back in the day, as it always kept you guessing. Now, if only they had actually planned a proper ending for all that mystery, it would be a classic.
