More Possible Hints That Rey Isn’t Native To Jakku

A supposedly leak from a Star Wars guide has possibly shed new light on the origins of Rey, the heroine of Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy. He information comes from Reddit, so grain of salt and all that, however if it turns out to be legit, it would nullify the explanation given to Rey by Kylo Ren in Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi.

It would also put to bed the theory that Rey was created in a secret Palpatine owned lab on Jakku. Having said that Good ole’ Palpy is in the film for a reason, while we likely won’t know that reason until we watch the film, the possibilty of Palpatine being involved in creating Rey remains.

I think most of us took the Rey watching the ship fly away in her flashback as her being dropped off on Jakku and not simply her parents abandoning her on their home planet. All will be known this December when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters.
