In today’s Barside Buzz we have some possible details on Avengers: Doomsday, plus multiple trailers that have been cut ahead of debut. Rumor is that the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash this December will have the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday attached. There’s also a rumor that the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day may also be attached to the Avatar threequel.
[Small Update/clarification from source below.]
However, today we are sharing the latest video from insider Kristian Harloff. Harloff claims in the video he has heard some details about the upcoming Doomsday trailer, or trailers. One of the claims Harloff has made is that multiple trailers have been cut for Avengers: Doomsday‘s debut. Which one will therefore be used, is unknown, maybe even at Disney. However, they and Marvel Studios need to make that choice before December.
He’s also heard some details he’s not sharing yet, but there are some details he was willing to share. Obviously if this is not legit, Harloff could point to a different trailer being chosen here. However, that’s also true if that just happens for real.
Harloff says in one version of the trailer both Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter are shown, but in plain clothes. It’s widely reported both filmed at least a few scenes for Doomsday.

On to some news about the movie itself from Harloff:
As far as the X-Men goes, he says Cyclops is big role along with the ‘Summers Family’, whatever that means? He also said there’s no/little Wolverine, which isn’t a surprise given he’s not confirmed to be in it yet.
[UPDATE: Harloff has clarified he was referring to the upcoming Mutant Saga WRT his Cycclops comments, not Avengers: Doomsday. Ergo, likely this would not be James Marsden, but whoever is cast as the new MCU Cyclops. ]
Harloff also claims that he’s heard that Doomsday will serve as Patrick Stewarts last film. Not just last appearance as Professor X, but last appearance as anything. Does that mean they’ll kill him off, again? He’s died a lot already.
