Netflix’s Locke & Key Cast Siblings Tyler and Kinsey Locke

Back in July, Netflix gave Locke and Key a 10 episode order. A series that is based on Joe Hill’s comic book published by IDW Entertainment. It is a horror/fantasy series that revolves around the siblings Kinsey, Tyler and Bode Locke, who after their father is murdered move to their ancestral home in Massachusetts where they find magical keys that give them different powers and abilities. But there is a demon after the keys and he will do whatever he can to get his hands on them.

We know that Jackson Robert Scott has been cast as Bode Locke. Deadline is reporting that Connor Jessup and British actress Emilia Jones have been cast as Tyler and Kinsey Locke. Jessup is known for his starring role on ABC’s American Crime as well as his role on TNT’s Falling Skies. Jones played Alice Ward on Utopia and has also been in Wolf Hill, Residue and Doctor Who.

Locke and Key was originally developed and piloted by Hulu, but was not picked up by them. When Netflix picked up the series they did not pick up the existing pilot written by Hill. Instead they added Aron Eli Coleite and Meredith Averill to the creative team and set out to redevelop the scripts which included Carton Cuse. They also wanted to re-cast two of the Locke siblings with only Scott remaining. Cuse and Averill will serve as showrunners for the series. Andy and Barbara Muschietti will serve as executive producers along with Lindsey Springer and Cuse via his Genre Arts production company. Also executive producing are Hill, Averill and Coleite with, Ted Adams for IDW Entertainment and David Alpert and Rick Jacobs via Circle of Confusion.
