New Christopher Robin Images Gives First Look At Tigger, Piglet, And Eeyore

It’s a bit odd that we’re getting two movies this year that chronicle sort of a loss of one’s younger identity. That seems to be the case in yet another Disney fantasy film, Christopher Robin. If somehow you know nothing about the character, Christopher Robin is the name of the young boy who ventures into the Hundred Acre Wood and goes on adventures with his friends Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and many others.

In the upcoming film, Christopher Robin finds himself in a real-world crisis in 1949, where he has to find a way to keep many employees he works with from getting laid off, only that means missing his vacation with his wife and daughter.

“In those older stories, [Christopher Robin] purveys a lot of wisdom through the way he deals with Pooh. Pooh and Eeyore run through a lot of philosophical questions, and Christopher Robin is there to answer them somehow,” actor Ewan McGregor told EW. “And I think, largely, he’s just lost any of that childish wisdom and he’s a bit stuck. He’s just very work-minded and doesn’t have any time for play. I suppose that’s what the film is about: finding his relationship with his younger self again.”

Sounds pretty straightforward, and it’s something we already got a sense of in that first teaser trailer about a month ago. There, we got a look at Pooh, but EW has shared a new photo that shows off Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore.

Yup. I’m on board. My childhood is loving everything about this. What do you think of this new photo? Let us know your thoughts down below!
