New Falcon And Winter Soldier Set Photos Hint At U.S. Agent Plotline

We all probably know that Falcon and Winter Soldier, the first MCU show to appear on Disney+ is filming now. We know a few things about this show already, not only will Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan be reprising their roles as Sam and Bucky for this, but we also know that Emily Van Kamp is back as Sharon Carter, and Daniel Bruhl as Helmut Zemo. Rupert Wyatt will also star as John Walker/U.S. Agent in the series, and we know very little about what role he may have, well, maybe we know a little more after today.

ComicBook.com has posted some set photos from the upcoming series which we cannot share here, but you can check them out in the link below. We can, however, talk about what this all could mean. The set photos seem to show a big presentation at a football ground being set up, probably to introduce the ‘New Captain America’ i.e. John Walker. It seems as though the government is doing their best to instill John Walker as the new Captain America. He looks like Cap, has a suit similar to Cap’s, and they clearly seem to be presenting him to the public in these set photos.

I am going to take a guess that Sam is going to have to fight to be accepted as the new Captain America and that US agent isn’t going to be too happy to have this guy stealing his thunder. I just wonder what role Zemo is going to have in this one. Maybe it will be about Bucky’s part of the story, or he could have some new grand plan that connects him to U.S. Agent?

We also know that Chris Evans will not be getting involved with who takes on his mantel in this show as Evans recently revealed when speaking with ET Online, that Endgame was the perfect ending for his character. You can catch the full details of what Evans said in the related section below.

I’m intrigued to see who these MCU shows will fare on Disney+ and I can’t wait till they start to appear on the streaming service next year. What about you, which Disney+ shows are you most excited for, and what do you think is going on with U.S. Agent in these set photos? Share your thoughts below if you have the time.
