New Ryan Reynolds-Starring Action-Comedy Free Guy Gets Video Tease And Poster | NYCC 2019

In a world packed to the brim with franchise flicks, we have a serious shortage of original ideas with substantial budgets. So when one comes along that seems like a lot of fun, it’s something worth celebrating. That’s what we may be dealing with here in the film Free Guy, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, and Taika Waititi.

The film just had its New York Comic-Con presentation, where director Shawn Levy and cast members Ryan Reynolds (Guy), Jodie Comer (Millie / Molotov Girl), Lil Rel Howery (Buddy), Joe Keery (Keys) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Mouser) came out to talk about the movie (more on that later today), but in addition, the studio put out a fun little video and poster.

Below is the official synopsis for Free Guy:

“The hi-tech action comedy “Free Guy” is the unconventional story of a lonely bank teller who discovers he is actually a background character in the brutal open-world videogame Free City.”

It’s an interesting premise and talented cast, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on this one. What do you think of the video and poster? And did you actually remember which movie Reynolds and Waititi were in together? Let us know your thoughts down below!
